Nintendo DS Lite Blog

This blog is a new addition to a project I started a couple of months ago….namely an online store devoted to the Nintendo DS Lite. The reason I chose the DS Lite, is mainly because my kids absolutely love it and I must admit I am still blown away myself by the level of interaction you can have with it.

But there was trouble in the camp….mainly because I have 3 children and we only have 1 Nintendo DS Lite. So, off to eBay I went. Now, pretty much I figure that’s probably what most people do when they want to buy a gaming system. They tend to go (just like I do) to sites such as eBay or Amazon expecting to find themselves a bargain.

Well, bargains a plenty there might be, but how to find them without spending hours looking for them, I do not know. There were DS’s of every possible description, color, new, used you name it. Not to mention skins and styli (I think that’s plural for stylus lol), games…the list goes on.

I’ve been looking to find myself a project on the internet to help make ends meet recently and thought there must be a better way to find exactly what you’re looking for on eBay. So, I did a bit of research and came across some software called Build A Niche Store (or BANS) and the purpose of it was that you could create a store from eBay products and set them up using an RSS feed, exactly the way that you want (or more importantly - the way potential customers would want).

The end result is my Nintendo DS Lite store which I have customised to break all the Nintendo DS Lite products available for sale on eBay in a more user friendly manner. So now, you can not only still get your DS Lite at the cheapest price around, you can get it so much quicker, because by shopping through my store things are so much easier to find.

In my next post, I’ll tell you a bit more about the store categories I already have and also my plans for adding new categories as well….so stay tuned.
