If you happen to still have the original version Nintendo (NDS) system then rest easy as you most definitely can play the Nintendo DS Lite Brain Age game that is available including either of Brain Age or Nintendo Brain Age 2.
In fact all Nintendo DS Lite games will work with the DS. Basically they are both the same software, they’re just in different formats; similar to the Nintendo Gameboy and Gameboy SP games, they both share the same games.
