Don’t make the mistake of thinking you can use the charger you get if you bought your DS Lite in the US. The charger that comes with it is the standard 100V variety. This is great for the US and countries that utilise the same power voltage, but places like Europe and Australia, for example, require a 240V adapter that suits their power conversion. These countries also require you to have a different head than what is used in the US.

Personally I couldn’t imagine anything more frustrating then not being able to play my DS just because I didn’t have the correct power adapter.
